Job summary

Zyphe, Inc. is seeking a compliance analyst in London to review KYC and KYB files, assess risk, and finalize approvals. You’ll triage sanctions, PEPs, and adverse-media alerts, performing enhanced due diligence on higher-risk clients and helping draft SARs when needed.

You’ll work with AI agents and a senior team to shape automated workflows, while maintaining meticulous audit trails and clear case notes. This is a hands-on role with real impact.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years in AML/KYC/KYB or FinCrime operations at a bank, fintech, EMI, crypto firm or advisory.
• Solid knowledge of UK Money Laundering Regulations, JMLSG guidance and FCA DD expectations.
• Hands-on experience reviewing complex corporate customers and multi-layer ownership structures.
• Experience handling sanctions, PEP and adverse-media screening alerts.
• Strong written English and ability to explain a decision clearly and briefly.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Review KYC/KYB files and make final approvals, rejections, or escalations.
• Triage sanctions, PEP and adverse-media alerts with clear rationale.
• Conduct enhanced due diligence for higher-risk clients, including source of funds/wealth.
• Support investigations and help draft SARs for client review.
• Handle ongoing monitoring, QA and documentation for audit trails.
• Collaborate with CTO/product to improve agent reasoning and playbooks.
