Job description

Location: Working across multiple schools in HET, specifically in the BCP/Dorset area.

Contract: 37 hours per week, 52 weeks a year

Salary: Grade 6, £27,899 to £30,060 FTE

Start date: As soon as possible

Job Summary

Hamwic Education Trust (HET) is a large, fast-paced multi-academy trust with currently 37 schools across the South Coast: Portsmouth, Southampton, Poole, and Dorset.

We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated Junior IT Engineer with the necessary qualifications and experience to provide IT support to schools within HET.

As the Junior IT Engineer, you will work across multiple schools, have experience of IT, and possess strong organisational and interpersonal skills. You will be self-motivated and actively support the IT vision and improvement plan for HET and its schools.

The role requires visits to schools that need support; therefore, flexibility around driving is essential.

  • Train IT technicians within other schools and assist schools with IT projects

  • Can complete work to a high standard
  • Is flexible in their approach to working across schools
