Job description

The vacancy:

Looking to build an exciting career in a dynamic, fast-paced team environment, then look no further.

As a Junior IT BI Developer working alongside the IT department in our Grimsby office, you will work across projects and operations, helping to collect, process, and evaluate large sets of data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies, providing reports and dashboards.

Your main duties will include:
•Data Collection:Gather data from various sources, including databases, spreadsheets, and external sources, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
•Data Evaluation:Assess large data sets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies, using statistical and data-focused tools and techniques.
•Data Visualisation:Create clear and concise data visualisations, such as charts, graphs, reports, and dashboards, to present findings to the business and clients.
•Reporting:Develop and maintain regular reports and presentations to communicate insights and updates to clients and the businesses of Wilkin Chapman.
•Teamwork:Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide data-related assistance for various projects and initiatives.
•Data Quality:Ensure data quality by identifying and resolving data discrepancies and inconsistencies.
•Process Improvement:Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance data collection, evaluation, and reporting.
•Compliance:Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations and best practices.
• Monitor industry trends, technologies, and standards.

We are interested in hearing from candidates with initiative and a strong team ethos. Some IT experience is desirable, although not essential.
