Job summary

Blackfinch Group is seeking a junior investment assistant to support daily implementation and maintenance of investment models across a range of products. You will handle model updates, fund switches, and daily dealing tasks to ensure high-quality service for clients.

The role focuses on platforms and non-platform dealing processes, with a path to independent daily dealing on behalf of clients, and a strong emphasis on accuracy and process discipline.

Qualifications

• Extremely accurate with strong attention to detail.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills.
• Ability to manage and prioritise a varied workload effectively.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Confidence working with numerical data.
• Ability to identify discrepancies and elevate issues appropriately.

Responsibilities

• Implement approved investment decisions and fund switches across model portfolios on platforms.
• Complete drift model updates in line with approved instructions.
• Rebalance client models on investment platforms and perform post-dealing checks.
• Build new models on platforms using approved information.
• Maintain consistency of model information across platforms and systems.
• Maintain records of all model changes and completed activity.
• Update model information on FE Analytics and related systems.
• Support administration and ongoing maintenance of investment models and dealing policies.
