Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for a hands-on, detail-oriented Junior Inventory Manager to join a high-performing team. This role will challenge you and enable you to make a difference in stock accuracy and waste reduction.

What You Will Be Doing:

1. Managing a large team on shift to ensure KPIs and daily tasks are completed.
2. Supporting the Inventory Manager in overseeing inventory control, including audits and distribution of materials.
3. Conducting physical inventory audits to reconcile discrepancies.
4. Supporting goods receipt processes to minimize delays.
5. Tracking and analyzing waste, damaged, and returned materials, and managing the quarantine area.
6. Leading by example, solving problems, and ensuring task completion by deadlines.
7. Providing a strong shop floor presence to support the team and collaborate with others.

Who You Are:

1. Proven experience in inventory management.
2. Advanced Excel skills.
3. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
4. Knowledge of inventory control principles and best practices.
5. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Location:

The Granary, Unit 3, Chalker Way, Banbury, OX16 4XD

Shifts:

6:30am - 6:30pm, working Wed-Sat or Sun-Wed rotating every 3 months.
