  • Communicating clearly and professionally with clients to provide updates, clarify needs, and ensure successful outcomes
  • Managing and prioritising tasks across multiple client projects
  • Switching between client contexts and adapting to each project's specific goals and systems
  • Using API documentation and technical resources to understand how to best integrate with external platforms
  • Troubleshooting issues and ensuring integration reliability, data accuracy, and security
  • Working closely with the Cogent2 team to share knowledge, refine processes, and deliver consistent results
  • Documenting integration logic and maintaining clear internal records to support maintainability and future scaling
  • Writing and maintaining internal documentation for integrations

  • Supportive team with opportunities to learn and grow
  • 25 days holiday entitlement

Qualifications

We’re looking for someone who brings a solid foundation in integration and web technologies, along with a proactive attitude and strong communication skills. Ideally, you will have:

  • Familiarity with REST APIs and an understanding of how to work with them effectively; experience with GraphQL is a bonus
  • Hands-on experience working with structured data formats such as JSON, XML, and CSV
  • A clear understanding of HTTP protocols, including verbs, headers, and status codes
  • A practical, can-do mindset and the willingness to learn new tools and platforms as needed
  • A strong sense of ownership, with the ability to manage tasks independently and see them through to completion
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially when working directly with clients
  • A good awareness of data security and privacy best practices, and the ability to apply them in real-world scenarios
