You will work with our UK team in our innovation exchange in the heart of the city of London.

At the AIE, you'll be part of a small team of makers, breakers, doers and disruptors, who love to solve real problems and meet real customer needs.

You will work alongside clients, account execs, UX designers, developers and product owners to ideate, experiment, and build rapid proof of concepts and innovations for a range of clients leveraging the latest emerging technology.

Hybrid working: The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.

Your Role

Your primary role will be to work with Senior Strategists in supporting the shaping and selling of our innovation products and services, going on to work on innovation engagements which deliver value for our clients and the business.

You will have a passion for innovation and emerging technology and embrace working with new ideas and methods. You will be comfortable working in an ambitious, start-up style culture where you will play a part in our growth and contribute to the development of the team through a number of internal projects.

What You’ll Do

Sell Innovation

• Support the creation of proposals for innovation opportunities using structured thinking and storytelling to bring innovation opportunities to life for clients

Explore Innovation

• Participate in and run Innovation Tours to demonstrate our culture, method and capabilities to clients and colleagues within the business
• Project Manage client ‘Discover’ workshops with clients – creating session agendas, managing the development of the session content, and co-ordinating the logistics for the sessions
• Co-Facilitate workshops with clients around their business problems and emerging technology topics, using different facilitation and ideation techniques

Create Innovation

• Work with Senior Strategists to prove the commercial business case for an innovation opportunity, proving the business value, risks, and constraints for a given innovation
• Work with Senior Product Owners to product manage the design & development of innovation proof of concepts for clients – managing a product backlog, defining user stories, and testing the product with end users

Your Skills And Experience

• Ability to think on your feet, bring an outside in perspective and work in an emerging and fast paced environment
• Combine creative and design thinking with strategic and analytical insight, confidently able to articulate and present your ideas. You may be dynamic and excel in one or more of these areas.
• Experience working on innovation related services at or for Corporates is a MUST
• A passion for innovation and emerging technology, thirst for new ideas and appetite to embrace new tools & ways of working
• Experience of creating compelling storyboards for written and verbal presentations with a basic understanding of business case creation methodology and financial concepts
• An understanding of project management methodology – including Agile methodology – and experience in managing your own tasks.

Mandatory Skills

• Experience with Human Centred Design / Design thinking with customer journey mapping and creation.
• Experience of innovation storytelling and concept development
• Experience of meeting management and workshop facilitation (as a co-facilitator) both online and in person
• Experience of project management tools and techniques (Notion, Mural, Miro, Kanban, Gantt)
• Experience of maintaining your consulting behaviors when working with client stakeholders

Your security clearance

Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS). To be successfully appointed to this role you will need to undergo Baseline Personnel Security Standard checks. There are no nationality or residency restrictions, although if you have resided outside of the UK within the last 3 years, further checks may be required. There are other criteria and check required for BPSS, and throughout the recruitment process, you will be asked questions about your security clearance eligibility such as, but not limited to, country of residence and nationality.
