Job description

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Junior Lawyer to join the compliance function of the team at Teledyne. You will report to the General Counsel for Digital Imaging (Europe, EMEA, and APAC).

Your responsibilities:

  1. Compliance and Risk Management:
    - Support the implementation and monitoring of compliance programs, including ethics and data privacy programs.
    - Assist in identifying and mitigating legal risks related to business operations.
  2. Corporate Governance:
    - Maintain corporate records and filings.
    - Support the preparation of board resolutions and ensure compliance with corporate governance standards.
  3. Legal Advisory:
    - Provide day-to-day legal advice to internal teams on various matters, regulatory compliance, and corporate issues.
    - Conduct legal research and draft memos, policies, and guidelines.
  4. Dispute Resolution:
    - Assist in managing disputes and litigation, coordinating with external counsel when necessary.
    - Help resolve legal issues efficiently and effectively.
  5. Mergers and Acquisitions:
    - Assist with due diligence of potential acquisition targets and integration of new businesses.
  6. Reviewing and advising on NDAs and commercial agreements.
  7. Training and Education:
    - Deliver training sessions on legal topics such as data protection, intellectual property, and contract management.
