Job description

Morson Talent are currently recruiting for a Junior HSE Engineer to work on the behalf of one of our reputable Aerospace clients based in Motherwell. This role is a contract for 5 months, with possibility of extension up to 12 months.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
This junior HSE professional will implement and maintain company policies adhering to local, state and federal environmental, health and safety regulations. Involved in the design and development of facilities, work areas and work procedures and makes environmental, health and safety recommendations accordingly.
Responsible for preparing, maintaining, and updating environmental policy and procedure manuals, support HSE systems and practises.
Ensures compliance with all environmental, health and safety regulations, and keeps abreast of any changes to laws and regulations that impact the organization.
Serves as contact with all federal, state, and local regulatory bodies.
Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
Works under immediate supervision and will report to a supervisor.

SKILLS/EXPEREINCE REQUIRED
May require a bachelors degree in area of specialty and related experience and able to show proven capabilities in the field or in a related area.
Professional qualifications are critical to this role.
Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the Health, Safety, and Environmental field.

Pay rate: On application.
40 hours per week.
