DSV Air & Sea is seeking to hire a skilled and passionate Junior HR Consultant, Oceania in Melbourne.

Your Typical Day at DSV :

  1. Data Analysis & Reporting – Audit HR reports to ensure accuracy and integrity, identifying discrepancies and making timely corrections in the HR system. Track key workforce metrics such as contract end dates, work eligibility statuses, and turnover trends. Use data insights to identify patterns, support business decisions, and recommend process improvements.
  2. HR Business Partner Support – Collaborate with HRBPs to analyse trends, generate insights, and support initiatives like employee engagement, retention strategies, and performance analysis.
  3. Administrative Support – Manage employee transfers, onboarding, offboarding, and maintain HR documentation with accuracy. Ensure compliance by keeping employee records updated in the HR system.
  4. Employee Support – Manage the HR mailbox, respond to employee queries, and provide timely assistance on HR-related matters.

About You

  1. Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and data visualization tools preferred).
  2. Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  3. Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work collaboratively with HR and business stakeholders.
  4. Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
  5. 1-3 years of experience in an HR generalist or HR data analysis role.
  6. Must have full working rights in Australia to be considered for this role.
