Job summary

TJX Europe is hiring a Junior HR Business Partner for our Walsall Distribution Centre on a permanent basis. You’ll work a fixed 12:00pm–8:00pm shift on-site five days weekly, reporting to the Senior HR Business Partner.

You’ll support operational leaders, drive the people agenda, and deliver an exceptional associate experience across the site. You’ll partner with leaders to drive engagement, performance and talent initiatives, provide expert HR guidance, and help shape an inclusive culture

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced retail/logistics environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of employment law and HR best practice.
• Ability to build relationships, influence partners and provide commercial HR advice.
• Experience handling complex people matters and supporting organisational change initiatives.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience using HR systems to support decision-making.
• Experience in a unionised environment would be advantageous.

The Role

We're looking for a Junior HR Business Partner to join our growing HR team at our Walsall Distribution Centre on a permanent basis.

This role works a fixed shift pattern of 12:00pm-8:00pm and requires on-site attendance 5 days per week. Reporting to the Senior HR Business Partner, you'll play a key role in supporting operational leaders, driving the people agenda, and delivering an exceptional associate experience across the site.

As a Junior HR Business Partner, you'll partner with operational leaders to drive engagement, performance and talent initiatives, provide expert HR guidance, and help shape a positive and inclusive culture across the distribution centre.

What You'll Do

• Build strong, trusted relationships with leaders and managers across the business.

• Interpret and communicate HR policies, procedures and business initiatives.

What You'll Bring

• HR experience within a fast-paced environment, ideally retail, logistics, distribution or another operationally focused business.


• Strong employee relations knowledge and a sound understanding of employment legislation and HR best practice.


• Ability to build relationships, influence partners and provide commercially focused HR advice.


• Experience managing complex people matters and supporting organisational change initiatives.


• The confidence to challenge constructively and drive positive outcomes.


• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.


• Experience using HR systems and people data to support decision-making.


• A proactive, customer-focused approach with a passion for delivering exceptional HR support.


• Experience working in a unionised environment would be advantageous.
