McLaren Racing is seeking a Graduate / Early Career HPC Systems Engineer to join our HPC team in the UK. You will support and optimise the computing platforms that underpin CFD, AI and engineering workloads, working alongside experienced HPC specialists.
With a focus on Linux, automation, and infrastructure, you will develop skills across Linux, storage, networking and batch scheduling, while contributing to reliability and performance improvements.
We are looking for a Graduate / Early Career HPC Systems Engineer to join our High Performance Computing (HPC) team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate, Linux enthusiast, or someone with up to 2 years’ experience in infrastructure, systems administration, or HPC to develop their career in a world-class engineering environment.
You’ll help support and optimise the computing platforms that underpin McLaren Racing’s Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), simulation, AI and engineering workloads. Working alongside experienced HPC specialists, you’ll gain exposure to cutting‑edge technologies across Linux, supercomputing, storage, networking and automation.
This role is primarily infrastructure‑focused and offers a fantastic opportunity to build broad technical expertise in high-performance computing. While previous HPC experience is beneficial, we are equally interested in candidates who demonstrate strong Linux knowledge, technical curiosity, and a passion for learning.
