Position
SALONI is looking for a talented and skilled graphic designer to join our creative and busy team. Reporting to the Studio Director, the successful candidate will be working in a multi-disciplinary environment alongside the E-commerce and marketing teams producing exceptional on-brand digital, print and video collateral for web, social and our partners. The platforms we engage with our community are their first window into the SALONI World and we want to ensure they are showcased SALONI’s aesthetics through on-brand digital and web design, effective email marketing and social media. The successful candidate will live and breathe the aesthetics that communicate SALONI’s brand values and vision.
Job Description
- Providing graphic design services to support the visual identity of the business, using brand assets to design and create all visual elements for all of our digital channels including website, emails, social media, affiliates and display
- Working from briefs developing concepts and executing digital designs for the website including but not limited to web page layouts, digital banners, static imagery, GIF, animation and video across mobile and desktop
- Creating, executing and art-working concepts collaboratively alongside the marketing team across social media channels and email campaigns (Klaviyo); assisting with selecting imagery, creating/editing video/GIFs and creating templates ready for content
- Experience of email design best practice, and design for social campaigns
- Editing existing video and stills content to create compelling assets that clearly communicate key brand
- Content creation, editing and retouch for digital advertising and paid social
- Suggest creative solutions to website challenges, including but not limited to driving engagement with content, conversion and brand experience
- Formulating concepts, moodboards and assisting the team with upcoming shoots as required; assisting with retouch of imagery for content creation
- Being actively involved in bespoke briefs and projects such as packaging, digital advertising for the brand, and its retail partners
- Creation of graphic needs for business presentations for internal and external partners
- Managing the workload in this busy and creatively demanding role efficiently and effectively, with the ability to prioritise accordingly in order to accomplish the business objectives
- Be the guardian of consistent brand guidelines across all assets
The Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor of Arts degree in Graphic Design or similar
- 1-2 years of experience
- Experience working with fashion/lifestyle brands and good understanding of the luxury market
- Confident across Adobe creative suite including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects/Premiere Pro
- Strong design skills with a good understanding of asset creation for digital channels
- Strong typography skills
- Ability manage workload efficiently to meet business objectives, prioritising tasks effectively.
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of across print and digital design, visual merchandising, video, and photography; ensure all deliverables adhere to brand standards
- Creative eye with strong awareness of design trends and attention to detail
- Able to work at pace in a fast-paced setting, particularly to support digital marketing
- Strong knowledge of designing for social media advertising (including but not limited to Instagram)
- Positive, open, can-do attitude, curiosity, passionate and driven
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
