Working closely with the Lead Designer to an agreed weekly workflow plan, the Junior Graphic Designer is able to take concept direction and briefs to provide relevant, commercially successful, and on-brand graphic design solutions across digital and print media.
Responsibilities:
- Develop engaging, commercial, and on-brand designs for print collateral, including catalogues, in-store POS, direct mail, and other designs. This includes developing the look and feel of layout and imagery while always keeping a close eye on detail and with the Crew customer in mind.
- Create assets for email, web, social media, YouTube, display, and affiliate channels.
- Work with the wider creative team to translate marketing collateral into digital assets for online use (e.g., local marketing, blog posts, competitions, look books).
- Ensure all digital assets are on brand, commercial, and aligned with wider brand communications.
- Maintain close attention to detail across artwork and imagery.
- Work cross-functionally to assist in designing seasonal creative campaigns suitable for all marketing channels, fitting the brand position and creative strategy.
- Participate in seasonal concepts and idea creation.
- Innovate to ensure the Crew Clothing brand experience continues to evolve and is presented in the best way possible.
- Possess good knowledge of digital design; capable of designing email marketing communications along with website elements including homepages, category, and promotional banners, and article imagery.
- Prepare print-ready files for POS, seasonal books, and window displays.
- Present work confidently to directors, always adhering to timelines and deadlines.
Key Skills and Experience:
- Experience in a similar role, preferably at a retail company or with a creative degree.
- Knowledge of digital and print design.
- Demonstrable relevant professional experience.
- Ability to prioritize work schedules and meet tight deadlines.
- Manage multiple projects and responsibilities simultaneously.
- Operate effectively in a fast-paced environment, adaptable to change, and able to redefine goals as necessary.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Sound numerical and IT skills.
- Excellent knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Bridge. Knowledge of Figma, After Effects, and Trello is highly beneficial.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, both written and oral.
