Key Responsibilities:

Product Packaging Design: Develop eye-catching and commercially effective packaging designs across a wide range of consumer products.Creative Concept Development: Support the senior designers in brainstorming and executing concepts that align with customer trends and market demands.Artwork Preparation: Ensure all artwork is production ready, accurately set up for print and manufacturer requirements.Visual Branding: Ensure all design work adheres to brand guidelines.Design Adaptation: Modify existing artwork to fit various product dimensions, seasonal ranges, or customer-specific branding requests.Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with buying, product development, and sales teams to understand project requirements and deliver effective design solutions.Asset Management: Organise, maintain, and archive artwork files efficiently for ease of access and future use.Trend Awareness: Stay up-to-date with current design and packaging trends, contributing fresh ideas and styles to new ranges.

The Ideal Candidate:

A degree (or equivalent experience) in Graphic Design, or a related creative field.A strong portfolio showcasing creative versatility and an understanding of commercial design, especially packaging.Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).A keen interest in retail and product design, with an understanding of customer appeal and market positioning.Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to design challenges.Strong communication and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.Enthusiasm to learn and develop within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
