Job Description:

Freelance Junior Graphic Designer - £200/day - Immediate Start - Contract via Umbrella

We are hiring on behalf of our client, a leading events and marketing organisation, seeking a Junior Graphic Designer to join their flagship event marketing team on a freelance basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented and creative individual to support various design projects across digital and print, working closely with their in-house Graphic Designer and wider marketing and event teams.

• Location: London Kensington - 4 days in the office, 1 day from home
• Department: Marketing
• Reports to: Graphic Designer

Responsibilities:

• Creating engaging, on-brand social media assets for campaign support during the client's flagship event
• Collaborating with the Graphic Designer to generate creative ideas and produce visual assets throughout event cycles
• Designing materials for media partners, sponsors, exhibitors, and speakers
• Producing signage and collateral for live events in collaboration with the operations team
• Supporting broader design needs across the client's portfolio
• Updating brochures, email headers, and marketing collateral as needed
• Proof-checking and preparing artwork for print to ensure quality and accuracy

Qualifications:

• A degree in Graphic Design, New Media, or equivalent experience
• A strong portfolio demonstrating typography and layout skills
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and familiarity with Canva
• Knowledge of digital and print design principles
• Attention to detail and quality imagery
• Proactive attitude with ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and time-management skills

• Understanding of print production processes and specifications
• Experience preparing print-ready files
