Junior/Graduate Carbon Consultant – Manchester

Our client is searching for a competent and enthusiastic Junior Carbon Consultant to join their carbon team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the energy industry, preferably gained within an environmental or energy consultancy, with an excellent knowledge of the UK energy industry.

Job responsibilities for a Junior/Graduate Carbon Consultant:

  • Assist in data entry for SECR and CCA compliance and produce reports for clients.
  • Liaise with clients and energy suppliers to obtain energy data and information. Experience with SECR, CCA’s, and Carbon Footprinting projects is desirable.
  • Support technically on projects and work alongside account managers to present completed work.
  • Carry out energy assessments and identify energy-saving opportunities in a supporting role.
  • Conduct energy audits with experienced consultants.

The ideal Junior/Graduate Carbon Consultant will:

  • Have knowledge of the CDP disclosure system.
  • Hold a degree in Engineering.
  • Be familiar with UK regulatory frameworks such as SECR and TCFD recommendations and disclosure requirements.
  • Possess strong technical writing skills to draft high-standard client reports.
  • Be local to Manchester or willing to commute.
