Junior/Graduate Carbon Consultant – Manchester

Our client is searching for a competent and enthusiastic Junior Carbon Consultant to join their carbon team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the energy industry, preferably gained within an environmental or energy consultancy, with excellent knowledge of the UK energy industry.

Responsibilities:
  1. Assist in data entry for SECR and CCA compliance and produce reports for clients.
  2. Liaise with clients and energy suppliers to obtain energy data. Experience with SECR, CCA’s, and Carbon Footprinting projects is desirable.
  3. Support on projects and collaborate with account managers to present completed work.
  4. Carry out energy assessments and identify energy-saving opportunities.
  5. Conduct energy audits alongside experienced consultants.
Ideal Candidate:
  1. Knowledge of the CDP disclosure system.
  2. Degree in Engineering.
  3. Understanding of UK regulatory frameworks like SECR and TCFD recommendations.
  4. Strong technical writing skills for drafting client reports.
  5. Located in or willing to commute to Manchester.
