A respected Geotechnical Consultancy in the UK is seeking a Graduate Geologist to split duties between office work and field investigations. Graduate Geologist

Based near Coventry with occasional travel

£25,000 - £27,000 + Overtime (up to £3,000) + Expense + Training + Progression

Are you a recent graduate looking to join a company in which you can progress from junior all the way up to Principal Engineer and also offer plenty of overtime to increase your earnings?

On offer is the chance to join a well establish and highly respected Geotechnical Consultancy who provide the opportunity to train you both internally and externally with lots of overtime available, allowing you increase your earnings.

The company carries out geotechnical and contaminated land investigations nationwide including risk assessments and testing of groundworks nationwide. They require a Junior Project Engineer to undertake fieldwork at client sites and project management for blue chip clients

This position would suit a recent graduate with a Geology or Geography related degree and a year or more site work experience

The Role:

* Split between office and working away on site

* Office tasks include project management, creating reports on conducted site investigations and liaising with clients

* Whilst on site you can expect to carry out geotechnical testing, groundwater/soil sampling and other groundworks validation

The Person

* BSc or above in Geology, Geography or some other Earth Science Discipline

* Driving License

* Geology career experience desirable
