Job Description:

Our client is seeking a Junior Garment Technologist, Childrenswear, to support their technical team in delivering efficient technical processes and ensuring product quality across children’s garments and accessories. The role involves collaboration with buying and design teams to ensure product feasibility and alignment with pricing. You will provide ongoing technical input across teams.

This is a full-time role.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure adherence to sealing processes from prototype to production sign-off.
• Work with design and buying teams during product development to ensure samples are correct the first time.
• Manage product testing, safety labelling, and collection of sustainable credentials.
• Apply a Quality Assurance approach in all tasks.
• Review and ensure product compliance at the category level.
• Assess technical capabilities of suppliers through product evaluation and visits.
• Raise issues with the line manager and develop solutions.
• Support risk assessment to ensure products are safe and legal.
• Collaborate with suppliers on cost-effective production methods.
• Ensure block/size requirements are consistently applied.
• Drive product quality in fit, construction, and performance.
• Conduct market research for new products and labelling.
• Respond to issues from the Distribution Center, working with relevant teams to resolve them and implement CAPs.
• Monitor offshore production in collaboration with offices.

Requirements:
