Job summary

FASHION PERSONNEL in London seeks a Junior Garment Technologist to support both womenswear and menswear. You will drive fit sessions, review samples and ensure samples progress from first to final production with accuracy and speed.

With around 3+ years’ garment tech experience, you’ll know construction inside out, work closely with design, production and suppliers, and help keep products on schedule while delivering high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' garment tech experience with fit session knowledge.
• Strong understanding of garment construction and workmanship.
• Experience working directly with suppliers and factories.

Responsibilities

• Manage fit sessions across womenswear and menswear.

Love the technical side of fashion but still want to be surrounded by great product?

We're looking for a brilliant Junior Garment Technologist to join a busy London fashion team, working across both womenswear and menswear.

This is a great next move for someone with around 3+ years' garment tech experience who knows their way around a fit session, understands construction inside out and loves seeing a product go from first sample to final production.

What you'll be doing

You'll work across a varied product range, partnering closely with design, buying, production and suppliers to make sure everything looks, fits and performs exactly as it should.

• Managing fit sessions across womenswear and menswear
• Reviewing samples and providing clear, accurate fit comments
• Creating and updating tech packs and specifications
• Checking measurements, construction and workmanship
• Working closely with suppliers and factories
• Managing sealing samples through to production
• Identifying fit or quality issues and finding solutions quickly
• Keeping everything moving against the critical path
• Supporting the wider technical team across multiple product categories

• Technically strong with a great eye for fit
• Confident across garment construction and manufacturing
• Experienced working directly with suppliers and factories
• Comfortable juggling multiple styles and deadlines

3+ years' experience + womenswear or menswear experience are essential.
