Junior Front-End Developer

CleanTech Start-up | Up to £45k | On-Site (Southampton)

Join a fast-growing CleanTech start-up developing next-generation electric systems for the transport and mobility sector. You’ll be working on cutting-edge hardware and intuitive digital interfaces that help reduce emissions and bring smarter controls to real-world environments.

Following recent investment, the team is growing — and this is your chance to help shape the user experience of a ground-breaking green tech product from the ground up.

What you’ll be doing:

• Building and maintaining cross-platform apps (iOS, Android, Web) using Flutter and React
• Creating responsive, accessible, and visually polished user interfaces
• Connecting frontends to backend systems and embedded hardware via Wi-Fi and REST APIs
• Collaborating with designers, backend devs, and embedded engineers
• Testing your work in real-world conditions (yes, on actual boats)
• Writing clean, testable code and contributing to UI/UX discussions

What they’re looking for:

• 1–2 years' experience in mobile and/or web frontend development
• Solid foundation in HTML/CSS and a willingness to learn Flutter/Dart
• Bonus points for experience with React or hardware-connected applications
• Someone with strong attention to detail and a collaborative, curious mindset
