The Junior Account Manager role involves managing and developing business sales and profitability budgets through the initiation and development of new footwear product ranges to meet customer needs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing new footwear product ranges to ensure business continuity and customer satisfaction.
- Understanding customer business requirements and plans to maximize opportunities for growth.
- Managing costs within budget, including travel, samples, and freight, and seeking cost-saving opportunities.
- Analyzing market trends and driving new material and component development accordingly.
- Negotiating product costs and selling prices, creating costings, and obtaining final approval.
- Controlling operational costs of the Product Team Design functions within budget.
- Performing additional duties as delegated by management.
- Building effective relationships with stakeholders and being the primary contact for client interactions.
- Managing account activities and ensuring timely delivery of assignments.
- Developing accurate and detailed design briefs.
- Possessing knowledge of design principles and B2B/B2C service processes.
- Managing conflicts confidently to maintain strong relationships.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations such as H&S, VAT, and Customs.
- Fostering a team-oriented, trustworthy, and cooperative work environment.
- Following up on sourcing critical paths from all countries.
