Job summary

Manucomm Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Junior Food Technologist for a client in the food manufacturing sector. The role offers hands-on factory experience within Technical, Quality and NPD teams, with a focus on quality, safety and compliance.

The position is suited to a graduate in Food Technology, Food Science or Nutrition with some industry exposure, eager to build technical skills and a long-term career in food manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Degree/qualification in Food Technology, Food Science, Nutrition or similar
• Some relevant work experience, placement or industry exposure
• Good knowledge of food technology and nutrition
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• A proactive, hands-on approach and willingness to learn

Responsibilities

• Support Quality, Product and NPD activities across the factory
• Draft and maintain product specifications and declarations
• Check artwork and labelling for accuracy and compliance
• Work with suppliers, customers and internal teams
• Support continuous improvement and food safety standards
• Gain practical experience of a fast-paced food manufacturing environment

Junior Food Technologist

The position could suit a Food Technology, Food Science or Nutrition graduate with some industry experience and a genuine interest in food manufacturing to join our busy Technical, Quality and NPD teams.
