Role Overview

The Fluid Systems Engineer supports activities within the Fluid Systems team, including:

  • Producing, reviewing, and updating system documentation for mechanical and thermo-hydraulic design, operator instructions, HMI, safety, environmental, and control logic, in line with engineering standards.
  • Analyzing and defining I&C functional requirements, including writing functional requirements, detailed functional diagrams, FTP specifications, and analyzing FTP results.
  • Mechanical design tasks such as sizing components, performing thermal-hydraulic calculations, ensuring 3D model consistency, and formulating equipment specifications.
  • Supporting procurement with technical specifications and surveillance of supplier documentation.
  • Engaging with stakeholders to ensure system delivery meets multidisciplinary requirements.
  • Contributing to best practices, innovation, process improvements, and knowledge sharing within the discipline.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
  • Mechanical or Chemical Engineering degree or equivalent
  • 3-5 years' experience in process engineering
  • Relevant experience in the nuclear industry
  • Ability to manage workload effectively and produce high-quality documentation
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English
  • Proactive in communication, especially with remote teams in France and Germany
  • Focus on continuous improvement in engineering quality and documentation
Desirable Skills
  • Knowledge of EPR system design principles, I&C architecture, and Safety Classification
  • Experience working on operational plants or industrial sites
  • Ability to read/write technical documents in French
