Role Overview:

We are seeking an entry-level Junior Administrator position designed for someone looking to start their career in financial services. As a Junior Administrator, you will provide essential administrative support to the financial planning team, ensuring smooth and efficient day-to-day operations. This is a great opportunity to learn about the financial advice process and build a career path in financial planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to financial planners and paraplanners
  • Process new business applications and ensure accurate data entry
  • Maintain and update client records in our back-office system
  • Prepare documentation for client meetings
  • Liaise with product providers to obtain policy information and updates
  • Assist in managing client communications (emails, letters, appointment confirmations)
  • Scan, file, and organise documents securely and accurately
  • Learn and apply FCA and internal compliance standards

Skills and Qualifications:

Essential:

  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Minimum of GCSEs or equivalent; A-Levels or equivalent preferred

Desirable:

  • Interest in a long-term career in financial services
  • Previous office, customer service, or admin experience
  • Familiarity with CRM or financial planning software (training will be provided)
