Join our Commercial Finance team within Product and Technology FP&A to help with precise financial data and forecasting. This role is vital for strategic financial planning and top-notch analysis for our Product and Technology customers in Europe.

Join us in our journey of innovation and excellence! What You'll Do:

  • Assist the Commercial Finance team in crafting yearly plans and quarterly predictions, guaranteeing alignment with strategic goals and thoroughly detailing all assumptions.
  • Make manual modifications to annual plans and forecasts, such as creating new positions, transferring employees, and implementing organizational adjustments, all while preserving a detailed audit record.
  • Develop standardized templates for the annual planning and forecasting process, share with collaborators, and oversee system uploads to meet reporting deadlines.
  • Accurately prepare and submit month-end journals ahead of close deadlines.
  • Maintain and optimize the contractor tracking system, updating details and records for all ALAB contractors.
  • Process invoicing for software and contractor vendors, managing related accruals.
  • Track and maintain the capital expenditure schedule for tangible and intangible assets.
  • Prepare detailed monthly variance analysis for P&L cost items, including current month, flux, and year-to-date performance.
  • Maintain a schedule of headcount movements, including new hires, leavers, and transfers.
  • Provide decision support analysis and argument support as requested.
  • Develop presentation materials for monthly and quarterly business reviews.
  • Identify and monitor key business drivers to improve efficiencies.
  • Act as a reliable finance collaborator for D&D collaborators.
  • Engage in other ad hoc projects as needed.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2+ years' experience in an FP&A, commercial finance, or management accounting role.
  • Part-qualified accountant or finalist stage ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment across multiple time zones.
  • Proactive, inquisitive, and diligent with strong commercial competence.
  • Strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a time-sensitive manner.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A proven great teammate capable of working independently.
  • Demonstrable proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Preferred experience:

  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Familiarity with IBM Analytics & Anaplan (or similar corporate reporting cube environment).
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365), SAP Concur.
  • Knowledge of Power Query, Power BI, or similar BI dashboard tools.
