Qualifications

• A degree in Finance, Accounting, or related subject preferred.
• AAT Level 2 qualification or willingness to pursue it.
• Strong English and Maths, GCSE 6+ preferred.
• Hardworking, reliable, willing to learn.
• Interest in long-term career in finance and operations.
• Good communication with colleagues, customers and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Finance Administration: day-to-day support to the finance function, maintaining accurate financial records and assisting with reporting, reconciliations, and general finance administration.
• Sales Ledger: raise sales invoices, allocate customer payments, monitor outstanding balances, and support credit control activities.
• Purchase Ledger: process supplier invoices, check and reconcile supplier statements, maintain accurate purchase ledger records, and assist with supplier payment processes.
• Credit Control: monitor overdue accounts, follow up outstanding payments, and support the maintenance of healthy customer accounts.
• Business Operations & HR Support: support HR and administrative activities, including employee record-keeping, recruitment coordination, document preparation, and coordination across business functions.
