What's the role?

Are you a self-driven and experienced finance professional ready to take the next step in your career? We are seeking a result-oriented, strategic, and proactive candidate to join our dynamic multinational team to lead the Regional Audit & Compliance, reporting directly to the Regional CFO.

Based in Manchester, supporting Northern European countries, this is an exciting opportunity to impact multiple markets and grow your career in a global environment.

As the responsible for audit and compliance management, under the leadership of the Regional CFO, you will support several market organizations and their senior finance teams to deliver impactful results and contribute to Hilti's long-term strategy to improve the construction industry.

This role offers a development path beyond the audit function. You should bring broad finance experience, with a foundation in audit, and be eager to develop within the organization.

What does the role involve?

• Act as a trusted business partner in risk identification and process compliance improvements.
• Develop and manage the audit roadmap for the region.
• Execute independent process audits, providing insights and recommendations to market leadership.
• Coordinate with the global corporate audit team to enhance internal controls.
• Manage the lifecycle of strategic finance projects, ensuring timely delivery and high standards.

What you need is:

• Finance-related bachelor’s or master’s degree and/or CPA (or equivalent such as ACA, CGMA, ACCA, CIMA, MBA).
• Experience in internal/external audit and other finance areas like controlling, FP&A, or accounting.
• Attention to detail and strong follow-through skills.
• Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A commitment to continuous learning.
• Willingness to be geographically flexible and pursue an international career.
