Job Description:

Alexander Steele has partnered with a leading global wine & spirits business that is urgently looking for a Junior Finance Analyst to join the Finance team on a part-time 12-month FTC.

Working 3 days a week, you will support analysis activities with a focus on preparing large datasets, producing reports on Microsoft Excel, supporting the Finance Analyst, and involvement in financial monitoring.

On Offer

• Salary circa £132 per day
• 10% Performance Bonus
• 3 days a week in the London-based office

Key Responsibilities:

• Database Maintenance: Oversee the accurate upkeep of the Customer “A&P” and Supplier database within the system.
• Financial Forecasting and Budgeting Support: Assist the Finance Analyst in developing financial forecasts and budgets.
• Performance Reporting: Generate and distribute weekly and monthly performance reports, ensuring they are current and accurate.
• Price Building Support: Develop a base for rolling forward annual customers’ price lists and costs.
• Sample Spend Oversight: Track and report on Sample Spend to ensure proper cash management and departmental allocation.

Candidate Requirements:

• 2 to 3 years proven experience in data analysis and interpretation of complex financial data.
• Knowledge of basic financial principles
• Advanced MS Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, and charts
• Comfortable handling large datasets and generating reports
