Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited has a great opportunity in Basildon for a Junior Field Service Engineer (Training on LOLER). The role combines workshop repairs with on-site LOLER examinations across the UK, offering a structured training path and an achievable route to higher earnings through overtime.

You will complete LOLER exams on customer sites, service and refurbish access equipment, and may travel with occasional lodging.

Qualifications

• Willingness to travel for site works and occasional lodging when travelling further afield.

Responsibilities

• Complete LOLER examinations on customer sites around the UK.
• Service and refurbish access equipment such as Scissor Lifts, Booms and Spider Lifts.
• Pre-delivery product inspections.
• Carry out on-site LOLER inspections, servicing and repairs.
• Hours: Mon-Fri 08:00-17:30 with one-week call-out per month (+remuneration).

This role is a blend of workshop based repairs and refurbishments as well as on-site LOLER examinations and repairs. With most of the work based around London and the home counties, but other clients all over the UK, this role will occasionally require extensive travel and lodging.

The Role:

• Complete LOLER examinations on customer sites around the UK
• Service and refurbish Access Equipment such as Scissor Lifts, Booms, Specialist Narrow Access Platforms and Spider Lifts
• Pre Delivery product inspections
• Outside customer LOLER inspections, servicing and repairs
• Monday to Friday 08:00 - 17:30 with call out for one week of the month (additional remuneration included)

The Person:

• Willingness to occasionally lodge when travelling further afield
• Ful UK Driving License
