Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is seeking a Junior Field Service Engineer specializing in machine tools in the Bristol area. You will be trained by a global OEM to become a hands-on technical expert, with extensive on-site and residential training and a comprehensive package including private healthcare and a company car.

You will diagnose machine issues, train customers, perform routine service, and promote consumables and service contracts, with a clear path to technical leadership within

Qualifications

• A suitable engineering qualification- HNC/ Degree.
• Previous field experience in machine tools would be an advantage, or an apprentice-trained engineer.
• Hands-on, mechanically competent, with an understanding of electrical/hydraulic and mechanical drawings and systems.

• Diagnose and rectify machine problems and breakdowns.
• Train customers in operation, maintenance, and safety aspects.
