Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Junior Field Service Engineer (Machine Tools) based in the Bristol M5 Corridor. The role offers formal OEM training and a clear path to becoming a hands-on technical expert, with a package of 33,900 rising to 35,000 plus private healthcare, company car and full expense coverage.

You will diagnose and rectify machine problems, train customers in operation and safety, and perform routine servicing while promoting consumables and machine tool sales.

Qualifications

• Hands-on, mechanically competent with electrical/hydraulic and mechanical drawings knowledge.
• Engineering qualification such as HNC or Degree is required.
• Previous field experience in machine tools or apprenticeship background is advantageous.
