Junior Field Service Engineers – Join a Global Leader in Detection and Screening Technology

Their solutions play a critical role in preventing the illegal passage of explosives, prohibited weapons, contraband, toxic chemicals, and narcotics, safeguarding communities and securing borders worldwide.

We are currently seeking customer-focused Junior Field Service Engineers to join their mission of making the world a safer place. This is a unique opportunity to work with advanced technology and receive comprehensive training to excel in a field that truly matters.

About the Role

In this critical role, you will :

  • Troubleshoot, service, and repair electrical, electronic, mechanical, and IT systems (comprehensive product training provided).
  • Professionally communicate with customers, vendors, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders, providing timely and professional responses.
  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks in line with service contracts and schedules.
  • Test components and circuitry using tools such as multimeters, laptops, and built-in software diagnostics.
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronics-related equipment faults involving low voltage (24 volts or less).
  • Replace mechanical components such as belts, rollers, and motors, including maneuvering heavy parts with lifting aids.
  • Complete service-related documentation, reports, and compliance training.
  • Stay updated through technical, safety, and job-specific training, both online and in-person.

We’re looking for candidates who possess :

  • Tertiary qualifications in Electrical or Electronics (preferred).
  • 0–3 years of experience in troubleshooting and field repair of electrical and electronic systems.

  • Exceptional customer focus, communication, and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with clients and stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of IT networking and IT administration fundamentals (highly desirable).
