Job summary

YTL UK is seeking a Junior Facilities Manager to support facilities management, maintenance, compliance and workplace services across YTL Developments occupied buildings and assets. Based at Brabazon, Bristol, you will join the Estates and Property team delivering high-quality services across a diverse portfolio.

You will work with the Estates Operations Manager, coordinate contractor-led maintenance, oversee compliance checks and help deliver reactive repairs and project scopes.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities, property or estate management including contractor management.
• Understanding of statutory compliance, health and safety legislation, risk assessments, planned and reactive maintenance, and property management best practice.
• Strong organisational, administrative and stakeholder management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Professional qualification in Facilities Management, Property Management, Building Services or Estate Management (or working towards).
• IOSH Managing Safely, NEBOSH General Certificate or SMSTS.

Responsibilities

• Support the Estates Operations Manager in the delivery of facilities management and coordinate contractor-led maintenance and compliance activities across the estate.
• Provide operational support to the Property Manager in managing the completed property portfolio.
• Manage contractors from procurement and RAMS review through to site delivery, performance monitoring and completion.
• Carry out property and asset inspections and identify maintenance defects and compliance risks.
• Support reactive repairs, maintenance, compliance and property improvement projects, including scopes of work and quotations.
• Assist with day-to-day management of the property portfolio and occupier matters.
• Coordinate statutory inspections, certification, utility management and records.
• Build relationships with landlords, managing agents, contractors, occupiers and stakeholders.
• Provide operational support including reporting, tenant liaison, event coordination and health & safety adherence.
• Promote a positive health, safety and compliance culture and ensure lease obligations and estate regulations are followed.
