Job summary

Limited Edition Event Design in London and Milton Keynes seeks a Junior Event Technician to join a fast-paced, collaborative production team. You will provide technical assistance and logistical support across live and experiential events, working with senior project managers and technicians.

This hybrid role includes home-based prep, office days in Milton Keynes, and onsite delivery across the UK. A drive to learn, a basic understanding of lighting or sound, and a clean UK driving licence are

Qualifications

  • A clean, full UK driving licence is essential.
  • Basic understanding of lighting and/or sound equipment is desirable.
  • Eagerness to learn and develop technical production skills.
  • Excellent timekeeping and organisational skills are important.
  • Hands-on approach and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with production paperwork for events.
  • Prepare and organise tools and equipment for delivery.
  • Maintain and organise technical equipment.
  • Load, transport and unload equipment to/from sites.
  • Aid with load-ins, installations and load-outs.
  • Support technicians and project managers onsite.
  • Ensure equipment is prepared, delivered and returned safely.

Over the past year alone, we have designed, managed and delivered technical production for major productions and events includingMission: Impossible, Barbie, Oppenheimer, Indiana Jones, Napoleon, Wonka, Wish, Ferrari, F1, Dune: Part Two, Wicked, Superman, Roblox and Beetlejuice.

We have also supported some of the UK’s most prestigious awards and industry events, includingBAFTAs, London Fashion Awards and Olivier Awards.

With more than160 events delivered each year, we are a fast-paced, creative and highly collaborative production house where no two projects are ever the same.

The Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivatedJunior Event Technicianwho is keen to develop their technical knowledge and build a career within the live events and technical production industry.

Working closely with our Senior Project Manager and wider production team, you will provide technical assistance and logistical support across a diverse range of live and experiential events.

This is ahybrid role, combining work from home, our Milton Keynes office and onsite delivery across London and the UK.

Flexibility is essential. Our projects range from smaller-scale installations and activations through to large-scale events involvinglighting, sound, rigging and complex technical production.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the beginning of their career who is eager to learn, get hands‑on experience and develop their skills within a busy, high-end events environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assisting with the preparation and organisation of production paperwork for company events.
  • Preparing, checking and organising tools and equipment required for event delivery.
  • Maintaining and organising company-owned technical equipment.
  • Loading, transporting and unloading equipment to and from event sites.
  • Assisting with event load-ins, installations and load-outs.
  • Supporting technicians, project managers and the wider production team onsite.
  • Helping to ensure equipment are prepared, delivered and returned safely and on schedule.
  • Working collaboratively with the wider Limited Edition team and being willing to get involved wherever required.
About You

You may be at the beginning of your career in the events industry, or looking to take the next step and develop your technical production skills.

We are particularly interested in candidates with a genuine interest inlive events, technical production, lighting and sound, and who are enthusiastic about learning new technologies and systems.

  • A clean, full UK driving licenceand the ability to drive a company-provided van.
  • A basic understandingof lighting and/or sound equipment and technologies.
  • A genuine enthusiasmfor live events and technical production.
  • A willingness to learn,develop and broaden your technical knowledge.
  • Excellenttimekeeping and organisational skills.
  • A practical, hands‑on approachand the ability to work well as part of a team.
  • A positive, can-do attitude and the flexibility to adapt to changing requirements.
  • The abilityto work outside normal office hours, including evenings and weekends when required.
