The Company

Our client is based in the Southwest of England and is a multidisciplinary agency that manages and designs events on behalf of clients internationally!

They manage product launches, exhibitions, and symposia activities at a large number of medical congresses for their key clients. They also build and manage exhibition stands as well as satellite symposia sponsored during these exhibitions.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Junior Event Manager to join a multidisciplinary agency!

The Role

Due to continued growth, they are now looking for a Junior Event Manager to join their growing events team. The role involves supporting the Event Director in planning, coordinating, and delivering pharmaceutical and aesthetic events, ensuring standards are met and events are executed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality.

This broad role requires the Junior Event Manager to utilize their administration and project management skills, including:

  • Assisting the Event Director in defining, scheduling, and maintaining detailed project plans
  • Supporting the management of subcontractors and supplier relationships
  • Assisting in coordinating and overseeing the delegate registration process for events
  • Managing budgets and overseeing cost management
  • Providing on-site support, including overseeing stand installation and breakdown

The Candidate

Candidates should ideally have over 2 years of experience as a Junior Event Manager or in event planning, coordination, or project management, with excellent organizational and time management skills.
