Job description

Involve Recruitment is seeking a STEM graduate for the role of Trainee Environmental Consultant at an Environmental Management Services company based in Bridgend.

Ideal Candidate

The candidate should be mature, hardworking, and hold a degree in a STEM field, preferably in Chemistry, Physics, or Biology.

Experience
  1. Report writing, including presenting complex technical information clearly and accurately.
  2. Fieldwork experience, including data collection and water/soil sampling.
  3. Understanding of risk-based land contamination assessment approaches.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Interest in environmental issues, pollution management, land contamination, environmental impact assessment, and environmental management systems.
  2. Conducting environmental sampling and monitoring in the field.
  3. Performing site audits, surveys, inspections, and data collection related to liquid pollution control systems.
  4. Participating in emergency spill response operations.
  5. Staying updated with relevant environmental legislation and guidance.
  6. Preparing technical reports through data review, analysis, and interpretation.
