Job description

Junior Engineer – Norwich

Contract Personnel are looking for a Junior Engineer for a well-established manufacturing company in Norwich.

How does the day-to-day look?

• Maintaining window and door fabrication machinery
• Sorting out breakdowns as and when they occur to ensure production can continue
• Carrying out emergency repairs
• Moving and recalibrating kit
• PPM
• Cleaning down machinery
• Assisting with welding/ fabrication work
• Site maintenance

You will have:

• Previous engineering/maintenance experience
• A solid understanding of electrical systems is essential, with a preference for candidates who possess strong mechanical expertise.
• Ability to methodically diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, using analytical thinking to determine the root cause and implement effective solutions.
• Demonstrated experience in working with mechanical equipment, ensuring functionality and performance through detailed inspection and repairs.
• Keen ability to assess equipment and systems, identifying potential issues and inefficiencies before they result in failure.

Schedule:

• Monday – Thursday 3pm – 12am
• Friday 3pm – 7pm
