About the Role:

Combining expertise in finance, strategy, and clean technology, they deliver impactful solutions to address climate change challenges. They seek a motivated Junior Climate Finance Analyst to join their team and contribute to driving decarbonisation through data-driven financial strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct financial analysis and modelling to support investments in renewable energy and sustainable technologies.
• Perform ESG and sustainability risk assessments, integrating non-financial metrics into valuation models.
• Assist in preparing carbon footprint reports, including Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions analysis, for clients.
• Support development of decarbonisation strategies, including cost analysis and implementation plans.
• Build and maintain financial models (e.g., DCF, Monte Carlo simulations, scenario analyses) to evaluate investment opportunities.
• Provide market insights on investment strategies, climate policy, and emerging technologies.
• Research opportunities and risks in clean technology investments and emerging markets.
• Collaborate with teams to align with sustainability goals and client objectives.
• Fluency in Italian and English (written and spoken).
• Strong academic background in finance, economics, or sustainability.
• MSc in Climate Change, Management, and Finance (preferred); BSc in Economics, Finance, or related fields.
• Experience in financial modelling (DCF, WACC, scenario analysis).
• Proficiency with tools like Excel, Bloomberg, Python.
• Strong communication skills, capable of explaining complex concepts clearly.
• Passion for sustainability and climate change solutions.
• Additional language skills in Spanish or Portuguese are advantageous.
• Knowledge of ESG principles and carbon trading is beneficial.
