Job summary

RWE Supply & Trading GmbH’s Bespoke UK operations team seeks an Operations Analyst to analyse daily trade data, settle non-standard contracts, and manage volumetric processes across UK power, gas and green certificates. You will collaborate with Trading, Risk, Finance and external parties to ensure timely delivery and data integrity.

The role emphasizes automation, digital solutions, and building scalable processes while maintaining compliance and a low risk profile.

Qualifications

Strong analytical mindset and detail-oriented problem solving.
Well organised with ability to manage priorities and deadlines.
Confident communicator with cross-functional collaboration.
Ownership and accountability in processes improvements.
Experience using Python, Copilot, Power Automate to automate workflows.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

Analyse and validate daily trade data to ensure accurate processing across power, gas and green certificates.
Own the settlement of complex, non-standard contracts including green certificate transfers and bespoke structures.
Manage volumetric and metering processes ensuring data integrity and auditability.
Identify inefficiencies and implement automation or digital solutions to improve scalability.
Investigate and resolve operational issues with Trading, Risk, Finance and external stakeholders.
Deliver regulatory and ad hoc reporting generating insights to improve performance.
