Job summary

QED Legal Recruitment Limited is seeking a Junior Employment Solicitor to join a specialist boutique employment practice offering a predominantly remote working model, with one day per week in Maidenhead. You will advise on a range of employment matters and develop technical expertise in a supportive team.

The role involves drafting and reviewing contracts and policies, supporting contentious matters, and researching case law.

Qualifications

• Newly qualified or junior Solicitor with an interest in employment law.
• Experience in an employment law team is preferred, including exposure to contentious and non-contentious matters.
• Strong drafting, communication and client care skills.
• Proactive, able to manage priorities and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Advising and assisting clients on a range of employment law matters.
• Drafting and reviewing employment contracts, settlement agreements, policies and other documents.
• Supporting contentious matters, including tribunal proceedings where appropriate.
• Undertaking legal research and preparing case documentation.
• Managing client communications and ensuring high service standards.
• Collaborating with colleagues to deliver commercially focused advice.
