This role is based within a UKAS-accredited calibration lab, supporting the testing and calibration of precision instruments used in automotive research and development.

  • A Junior Electronics Technician / Calibration technician looking to develop their career in a laboratory or engineering environment.
  • Someone with a Level 3 or higher qualification in a relevant discipline

  • Experience using engineering software or database systems would be beneficial, but full training will be provided.
  • You will be enthusiastic, technically curious, and have a keen eye for detail.
  • A full UK driving licence.
This Junior Electronics Technician job will involve:
  • Supporting the calibration of instrumentation to ISO 9001 and ISO 17025 standards.
  • Assisting with identifying instrument faults and learning how to carry out minor component-level repairs.

  • Developing hands-on skills with precision tools, equipment, and test systems in a lab setting.
