Peterson EV – Re-imagined Automotive Instruments

Peterson EV is seeking a Junior Electro-Mechanical Design Engineer to support their expanding order book of CANbus Automotive Instrument Products.

Peterson EV designs analogue CANbus instruments for the automotive industry, catering to ‘Restomods’, Electric Vehicles, and Classic Cars. Their innovative instruments interface with any ECU, PDM/PDU, or Electric Vehicle system, providing precise vehicle parameter readouts.

We are looking for a motivated and hands-on Junior Electro-Mechanical Design Engineer to join their multidisciplinary engineering team. You will play a key role in developing dashboard solutions. With attention to detail, you will see your designs come to life quickly in this dynamic environment.

Qualifications:

• Degree (or equivalent experience) in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks preferred)
• Understanding of manufacturing processes (e.g., CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication, additive manufacturing)
• Knowledge of materials selection and mechanical system design
• Hands-on approach with assembling and testing designs
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Adaptability and proactive attitude in a fast-paced environment
