A UK energy consultancy is seeking a Junior Electrical Engineer to assist in the design and delivery of sustainable electrical installations and embedded renewable energy systems for major energy user clients across the UK.

Our client's solutions include power distribution upgrades, EV charging, the electrification of heat, and embedded renewable energy technologies, including rooftop Solar.

This is a new role created due to business growth and would suit someone seeking more autonomy and responsibilities than their current role allows.

This role is hybrid, involving some travel to the offices in West Yorkshire and to sites across the UK (all site travel paid for).

The role

• Assist in conducting energy audits on sites across the UK, aiming to reduce energy costs across the commercial portfolio.
• Collaborate with mechanical engineering counterparts, helping to consult and instruct design consultancies to prepare proposals for clients.
• Assist in the delivery of energy efficiency measures installed on site.
• Design and deliver electrical installations, including power distribution, lighting, fire alarms, security, and data systems.
• Conduct renewable energy reviews for Solar and Electric Vehicle projects on site.

About you

• Experience in designing and delivering electrical systems (1+ years).
