Get Staffed in Wellington, Somerset is seeking a Junior Electrical Draftsperson for an office-based, permanent role. 40 hours weekly, Mon–Fri, with a salary of £27,000 to £35,000 depending on experience. Start date ASAP.

Qualifications

Some exposure to electrical schematics or CAD drafting from education or work.
Willingness to learn and follow established processes and standards.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Eligibility to work in the UK and ability to commute to Wellington.

Responsibilities

Creating and revising electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and panel layout drawings under guidance.
Supporting control panel layouts, including component placement, wire routing and enclosure layouts.
Learning and applying relevant electrical standards and regulations.
Helping to produce and maintain bills of materials for components including PLCs, relays, breakers, terminal blocks and wiring.
Maintaining drawing revisions and keeping technical documentation accurate and organised.
Supporting the panel fabrication process by answering drawing-related questions and making changes.
Working with suppliers to confirm component specifications and participating in design reviews.
