Job summary

Beeby Anderson Recruitment is seeking a Junior Electrical Design Engineer to join the Wokingham team. You will contribute to electrical design from concept through to completion while working with experienced engineers in a collaborative environment.

Suitable candidates have a degree in electrical/building services engineering and 1–3 years of building services experience. The role offers structured training, mentorship, and exposure to high-quality UK projects.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
• 1–3 years’ experience in a building services or consultancy environment.
• Good understanding of electrical design principles.
• Experience with AutoCAD/Revit (or similar design tools).
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Proactive approach with a willingness to take ownership and continue learning.

Responsibilities

• Assisting and contributing to the design of electrical building services systems.
• Producing drawings, calculations and technical documentation with increasing autonomy.
• Coordinating with multidisciplinary teams across a range of projects.
• Attending site visits, surveys and client/project meetings.
• Supporting project delivery to meet deadlines and quality standards.
• Developing knowledge of industry standards, regulations and best practice.
• Using design software such as AutoCAD and Revit.
