Job description

Path Education is hiring a Junior Education Consultant (remote).

Path Education's growing education consultancy and tutoring service is focused on delivering highly specialised and bespoke educational guidance to its families. We support our clients to navigate all stages of their educational journeys from early years to university, with a focus on British independent school and university admissions.

The primary purpose of the Consultant role is to expand the capacity of Path Education's consultancy team by supporting the Head of Admissions and managing client relationships. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organisational skills and the ability to communicate effectively with families, while taking ownership of designated client accounts. Beyond direct client work, the Consultant will provide broader team support and contribute complementary specialist expertise to enhance the team's overall service offering.

As a close-knit team, responsibilities will also stretch across supporting other aspects of the business such as the tutoring service.

  • Provide lead consultant services if appropriate for specific clients.
  • Manage the onboarding of new consultancy clients.
  • Interface with Path clients.
  • Liaise with schools and universities relating to client enquiries.
  • Produce and develop service documents for clients.
  • Maintain client folders and progress boards.
  • Support the development and production of Path's academic resources.

Tutoring

  • Manage client relationships.
  • Understand tutor skills, experience, and teaching styles to make effective matches with clients.
  • Understand the learning needs of students and recommend appropriate support.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as maintaining records and being a point of contact.
  • Ensure a high level of client satisfaction by liaising with families, addressing client concerns and resolving issues.

Company Growth

  • Contribute to growing our network of tutors and education professionals.
  • Represent the company at roadshows and events to develop the company's brand awareness.
  • Contribute to the development of the company's growth strategy.
  • Provide ad hoc support to the broader Path team as deemed necessary

Qualifications

Bachelors degree, or higher, preferred but not essential, particularly if the applicant has a proven background in the education sector.

What you will bring to the role

  • Robust knowledge of British educational systems.
  • Highly developed organisational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with people of all levels and ages.
  • Delivery of customer service at the highest level.
  • Ability to identify potential client issues and resolve them effectively.
