Job summary

ZeroLight is seeking a Junior Digital Designer in Newcastle upon Tyne for a hybrid role. You’ll craft short form video content, assist with UI/UX, and develop visuals using AI tools across automotive and architecture projects.

You’ll design decks, webpages, marketing assets, and interactive experiences while collaborating with the design team. A passion for social media and video editing is essential.

Qualifications

• Solid design foundation with attention to detail.
• Strong interest in social media trends, especially TikTok.
• Curiosity in AI creative tools and how generative tech can reshape design.
• Familiarity with UI/UX concepts; experience with Figma is a bonus.
• Interest in filming, video editing, or motion graphics (Premiere, After Effects encouraged).

Responsibilities

• Ideate, shoot, and edit short form video content for web and social channels.
• Design decks, webpages, marketing materials, and digital assets for stakeholders and clients.
• Collaborate with the design team on interactive experiences and product configurators.
• Use generative AI tools and motion graphics to create visuals and teasers.
• Contribute ideas for social campaigns and creative visuals.
