Job summary

Crew Clothing Company is seeking a Junior Brand Designer to join our Creative team in Kingston upon Thames. This full-time role combines four days in the office with one day from home, supporting online brand identity for Crew Clothing, Ben Sherman and Pringle of Scotland through seasonal designs.

You will collaborate with digital designers and marketing teams, build on-brand assets for email, social, print, and web, and help translate marketing collateral into compelling digital content while

Qualifications

• Graduate design degree and relevant design experience.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines.
• Retail brand experience preferred.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating digital creativity.
• Proficiency in InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator; knowledge of Figma/AE/Trello is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support BAU updates including email marketing and website updates.
• Create engaging assets for organic and paid social, display, and affiliates.
• Develop on-brand designs for print collateral and in-store materials.
• Prepare print-ready files for POS, seasonal books and displays.
• Collaborate with the team to translate marketing into digital assets.
• Ensure assets remain on-brand across global markets.
• Keep up to date with new software and develop digital skills.

Purpose of the role

We’re on the lookout for a charismatic, hard-workingindividual to join our Creative team. Reporting into the Digital Lead andworking closely with the other digital designers and ecommerce & marketingteams, the Junior Brand Designer will help develop the online brand identityfor Crew Clothing, Ben Sherman & Pringle of Scotland through creatinginnovative seasonal designs, which fit with the overall brand & creativedirections, at an exciting time of growth for the brand.

Responsibilities

• Supporting with BAU updates including email marketing communications and website updates.
• Creating engaging assets (image/animation/video) for organic & paid social media, display and affiliate channels.
• Develop engaging, commercial and on-brand designs for other print collateral, including in-store POS, direct mail andother designs.
• Prepare print ready files across POS, seasonal books and window displays.
• Work with the wider creative team to translate marketing collateral to digital assets for online use(e.g. local marketing, blog posts, competitions, lookbooks).
• Act as a brand guardian, ensuring all digital assets are on brand, aligned with wider brand communications and tailored to each of our specific global markets.
• Close attention to detail across artwork and imagery.
• Use feedback from other designers to improve your work.
• Participate in creative meetings and involvement in seasonal concepts and idea creation.
• Keeping up to date with new software and keen to keep developing digital skills.

In order to be successful in this position you will need the following

• Experience in a similar design role, preferably at a retail company.
• Graduate degree in design.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines.
• Operate effectively in a fast-paced environment, able to adapt to change and redefine goals as necessary.
• Strong attention to detail.
• A portfolio to demonstrate your digital creativity
• Excellent knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator. Would be highly beneficial to have knowledge of Figma, After Effects and Trello.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, both written and oral.
• A keen team player.
• A can-do attitude and positive approach that fits well with company culture.
